Location, Climate, Landscape and People
Interlingua School is a private language school. It is located in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, Southwest China.
Zunyi City is located in the North of Guizhou. The climate is agreeable. The average temperature in January is 1oC to 10oC , and 17oC to 28oC in July.
Situated on the eastern Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the whole province is a mountainous area with beautiful landscapes. There are a lot of scenic spots in the province and many of them are becoming more and more popular with tourists.
Besides the Han people, the majority ethnic group, there are nine ethnic minorities in the province. These are the Miao, the Buyi, the Dong, the Yi, the Shui, the Hui, the Gelo, the Zhuang and the Yao people. Each minority has their own separate traditions. So there are rich anthropological resources in the province.

Our Philosophy of Language Aquisition
Language is human. A foreign language can only be really aquired in communication with native speakers. Thus the establishment of Interlingua, a school as well as an English speaking community where students learn English in tatal emession of the language and its culture.

Interlingua was established in September, 2000. The goal of the program is to offer quality foreign language education to average people.

Interlingua is the first private education program which is being permitted to employ foreign instructors by the provincial government.

In order to guarantee quality, we only employ professionally qualified teachers, adopt creative and effective approaches and limit classes to small size so that our students can be taught individually.

We have an experienced and dedicated group of teachers and administrators. Each teacher strives to create a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere to encourage students to participate.
