A Guide to Live in Zunyi

1. Transportation
The rate of transportation is very cheap. 5 Mao RMB (equal to 6 cents)for bus, 5 -- 10 Kuai RMB(equal to 60 centes -- 1.2 dollars) for taxi in the city. The taxi price may be 10 or more than 10 going to the countryside. The buses are often crowed, so we suggest you take a taxi.

2. Food
Traditional Zunyi food is mainly spicy. The New Century Restaurant is the one where sells some western style food. This restaurant is good for your adaptation when you just arrive in Zunyi.

3. Shopping
The Department Store and Dongfang Department store are the two biggest stores in Zunyi. They are located in the center of the town. The prices of these two stores are higher than many other small stores. Pepesi Store sells some sport clothes, shoes, trousers and so on.
Hongxin, Lizi and Minghao are the three big supermarkets. You can buy daily necessarities there. Lizi is the biggest.

4. Hospital
Zunyi Medical University Hospital is the biggest, also is the best hospital in Zunyi. It is close to Zunyi train station. It is the only hospital we recommend.

5. Post office and Internet Cafe
The post office is located in Da Xin Road, around 500 meters from Dong Fang Department Store.
There are a lot of internet cafes in the city. The biggest and the fastest one is in the Zhong Hua Road, named Wanwei Internet Cafe. It is about 500 meters away on the left of Department store.
